The Center for Network Development (CND) is a not for profit training and consulting agency that is committed to assisting agencies, organizations and communities build sustainable partnerships, service networks, a productive workforce and effective practices in order to improve the health and well being of youth at risk, families and communities.

We serve the wide array of agencies and professionals who are responsible for the health and well being of at risk youth, juvenile offenders and their families including courts, schools, behavioral health agencies, prosecutors, public defenders, child welfare, family advocacy organizations, higher education, detention, corrections, diversion, probation, employment, community and prevention programs.  CND is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. http://www.cndc.org

The Guidelines for Juvenile Information Sharing (JIS), presented in an OJJDP Report, continue to receive positive reviews by youth serving professionals and professional organizations.   JIS Guidelines Toolkits are now available.  Registration for our 2009 Juvenile Information Sharing Webinars is now open!  Go to the Calendar and Events page to learn more.

New Projects

CND is priviledged to be working with the Colorado Children and Youth Information Sharing Collaborative to assist them develop a plan for improving cross agency information sharing procedures to benefit Colorado children, youth and families.   

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention has awarded CND funds to continue the critical work accomplished for the Information Sharing to Prevent Juvenile Delinquency Project. For more information visit the project website  www.juvenileis.org .

The CND Executive Director has attended several meetings with the MacArthur Foundation National Resource Bank to advise them on issues related to improving information sharing among the juvenile justice and other agencies involved in the national Models for Change Project.
